When you need a really quick breakfast or something you can just pick up and take with you, why not try overnight oats? It's similar to muesli but since you make it yourself, you can control exactly what goes in!
It's made the night before and it doesn't take long at all, plus there are so many different ways to make it. Here's one way to make 3-4 servings:
Ingredients: 150g Greek yoghurt 120g oats 50ml semi skimmed milk 1/2 grated apple Half cup cherries (don't use glazed if you want fat loss) Handful almonds 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Other alternative fruits/nuts that you can try experimenting with: blueberries, banana, dried apricot, sultanas, walnuts, pistachios and also seeds such as sunflower, chia or pumpkin. Just use the ingredients that fit your macros/calories.
Method: Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. Done!
If you want higher protein, you can increase the amount of Greek yoghurt or add a scoop of protein powder in the morning.
