So those of you that are in our Facebook group Get In Shape With Lift 365 (www.facebook.com/groups/lift365 - feel free to join) will know that I weighed 7st 12lb before my holiday a month ago and put on 4lb during my holiday.
Here is my weight now, which I'm happy with. I don't need to be as lean as I was before my holiday, I just want to be comfortable in my clothes, have a nice shape and a flat belly. All by eating as much as I can (always try to keep calories as high as possible).
Here is how I lost some of that weight (remember weight is only an indicator, measurements are always better):
-I increased my daily steps by using the health app on my phone. You can use any step counter and want to aim for around 10,000 steps a day. -I estimated that I must've been consuming around 2000 calories on my holiday (before I went away I was on 1470 cals) so I thought ok, let's just try 1700 calories a day to see what happens. If I lost too much, I would just increase this figure. If I didn't lose anything I would go down more. It worked perfectly (you want to be losing 1-2lb a week). -I didn't train at all on holiday so I slowly increased my training to 2-3 times a week.
So overall, I increased my activity and decreased my calories from when I gained weight.
