-It it low carb? -Is it low sugar? -Is it low fat? -Is it only eating 'healthy' foods? -Is it eating more meals a day? -Is it gluten free? -Is it doing cardio? -Is it by lifting weights?
What's the answer? The real answer is ENERGY EXPENDITURE!
What does this mean?
By lowering your calories (by either reducing your overall food consumption or increasing your overall activity levels) you will create a calorie deficit, which will result in weight loss.
So you can lower your carbs or lower your fats or lower your sugar. You can do more walking, you can start lifting weights, you can take up a new sport. All of these will help create that deficit.
So how many calories should you be on?
