Most of you hate cardio because you find it boring and the chances are you most probably do the same thing because you don’t know any better.
Cardio can be challenging, fun and different to just using a treadmill. At our gym you won’t see any any cardio machines because we don’t think we should bore you with being on a hamster wheel just going round and round.
Don’t get me wrong this cardio does have its place in a program but its not the only option. Our two favourites (more so mine, not the client's or Holly Smith's) at our gym are the battling ropes and the sled done in intervals for time. You work hard for a short period and then rest and your brain and body is engaged the whole time.
Obviously you may not have these at home or your gym. If at home why not try tabata and if in the gym a circuit mixed with weights and plyometrics and if you really love cardio machines what about sprints on a bike?
